1. Who you're contracting with
This app ("TapTrap", the "Service") is operated by Dené Kok ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you ("you", "player") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. The Service
TapTrap is a hyper-casual reflex game playable in a web browser and (when distributed) as a native mobile application. The Service includes the gameplay client, leaderboards, account features, and the in-app shop where you can purchase virtual currency ("coins") and consumable bundles.
You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to make purchases. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation you warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular you must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or to send spam.
- Infringe third-party intellectual-property rights or share content you have no right to share.
- Probe, scan, or attack the Service, distribute malware, scrape data at scale, or interfere with security mechanisms.
- Use bots, automation, modified clients, or other tools to alter gameplay outcomes, leaderboard scores, or virtual-currency balances.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer your account or purchased coins to third parties.
4. Account & credentials
You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by anyone you allow to use it. You must keep your authentication credentials confidential and provide accurate information when signing up.
5. Intellectual property & licence
We retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including the software, artwork, audio, branding, and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms.
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or circumvent any technical limit of the Service except to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
6. Virtual currency & purchases
Coins and bundle contents (extra lives, hints, skip tokens) are digital items provided as a licence for in-game use. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and are non-transferable. Coins granted to your in-game balance are consumed when you use them and are not recoverable once spent.
All in-app purchases are sold and billed through Google Play, which acts as the seller of record. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.

See our Refund Policy for details. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on coin pack and bundle purchases that have not been substantially consumed.
8. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. The Service is provided "as is"; we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, present a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you where lawful and practical to do so.
You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends and remaining coin balances may be forfeited where the closure follows from a breach.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 6 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, goodwill, or data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where excluded by mandatory law.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent change at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Dené Kok is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
